RAILWAY WOMEN’S WELFARE ORGANISATION

             Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation, RDSO/Lucknow services vast community of Railway men and their family.  This organization is engaged in various social activities as follows:- 

·        Arunodaya – A special school for the mentally challenged.

·        Adult Literacy Centre – A school for the uneducated women.

·        Shilp Kala Kendra – A school for imparting training in stitching, sewing and embroidery.

·        Creche – A day care center, with full complement of matrons, ayahs and modern amenities.

·        Bal Vidyalaya – A nursery school for the kids that grooms them for primary education.

Besides the above activities, RWWO is also helping Railway Employees in need and arranging functions like Rail mela, various completions, drawings and painting exhibitions, sports day , polio eradication drive, family planning camps, culture programs etc. 

Apart from carrying out a wide range of welfare programs,  RWWO has also established an impressive track record of extending support to the nation in times of war, natural calamities like Tsunami disaster, earthquake in Jammu & Kashmir etc.
